They take great pride in what they... read more do and it shows. The breakfast was delicious and the added extras in the room were a very welcome addition. There is plenty of available parking and 2 reserved spaces at the back of the guesthouse if needed. The location is right in the centre of Windermere and close to shops/bars/restaurants and fantastic walks. We look forward to staying again!

Breakfast options were amazing and everything you could want - and more! Recommended for a stay in the area, it's the hosts that make it really special.

It is at... read more an ideal location with lots of bars and restaurants. Anita gave us all the information we needed for the walks and tour's. I would definitely come here again .   • star rating  Great place to stay, my wife and I were there on the 10/13/22 to 11/12/22. We were warmly greeted by Anita . She showed us to are cozy little room... read more called the (Rydal). We also met her husband Denis who was very warm and friendly too. It is so close to many amenities pubs, bars and restaurants. Nice place to do a bit of walking. The breakfast was really lovely, nicely presented and hot. My wife had the Caribbean salt fish Pattis which she said were amazing. Anita was very informative about the area considering she was from Holland. Denis was the chef and his cooking was spot on. If we come back we will definitely stay at the Archway Guesthouse again.
